K92's Survive It To Drive contest begins.

5/28 - 9:00 am
Cassandra is "punished" by the listeners and is required to be on the rear seat "hump" of the car for 48 hours.

5/28 - 5:00 pm
Megan is awarded a "luxury" by the listeners, a full half hour break from the car to do whatever she wants to do. She uses the time to visit with family & friends and to pluck her eyebrows.

5/29 - 9:00 am
Megan is awarded a "luxury" by the listeners, a chance to inflict pain on another contestant. She randomly chooses to have Jonathan lose his pillow and any other in-car items for 24 hours.

5/29 - 9:25 am
RONALD IS EVICTED FROM THE CAR
He violated several contest rules, the most severe is bringing his cell phone into the car. All electronics are strictly forbidden in the vehicle.

5/29 - 5:30 pm
Cassandra leaves the contest area during a 5 minutes break in which contestants are not allowed to leave said area. She is put on notice and will be evicted if it happens again.

5/30 - 2:25 am
Jonathon uses profanity (F-bomb) which is heard on the K92/Stop In Video Stream. Using profanity while in the car is a rule violation.

5/30 - 5:00 am
Cassandra is clearly spotted off the hump while sleeping, which violates the "punishment" that was inflicted on her by the listeners on 5/28.

5/30 - 9:00 am
Jonathon loses his cell phone privileges for 24 hours.
(This penalty is for his earlier profanity violation.)

Cassandra restarts her 48 hours on the hump punishment.
(This penalty is for not fulfilling the original 48 hours.)

Cassandra loses her cell phone privileges for 24 hours.
(This penalty is for leaving the area during a 5 minute break)

5/30 - 9:05 am
Megan and Cassandra are awarded a "luxury" by the listeners, which is a shower break to clean themselves up after 2+ days in the car.

5/30 - 4:45 pm
Cassandra is awarded a chance to get off the hump by the listeners. All 4 contestants openly campaigned for her to win this award.

5/30 - 9:30 pm
Megan is found to have 3 personal items inside the car. All contestants can have only 2 personal items inside the car at any time. She loses her cellphone privileges for 24 hours.

5/30 - 10:00 pm
Construction begins in a retail location near the contest area & car.
Most of the construction is between the hours of 10pm and 7am so the contestants aren't going to get much sleep due to the continuous jackhammering, talking and other assorted construction site sounds.

5/31 - 11:15 am
Windi fails to put her cellphone back into her duffel bag while attempting to change her personal items. All personal items that aren't being used inside the car, including cellphones, must be kept inside a contestant's bag. She loses her cellphone privileges for 24 hours.

5/31 - 12:20 pm
Cassandra fails to put her hair ties back into her bag. She insists that she's been sabotaged and that one of the other three contestants took them out in an attempt to get her disqualified. All contestants deny any wrongdoing. She loses her cellphone privileges for 24 hours.

5/31 - 1:00 pm
WINDI IS EVICTED FROM THE CAR
She failed to put all of her items into her bag for a second time.

6/1 - 5:00 pm
All three contestants were given a 30 minute bonus break while the Chevy Malibu they'd been living in was replaced with a Jeep Compass.
During the break, Cassandra and Megan quickly shaved their legs in the bathroom while Jonathon took a quick "bath" in the men's room.

6/2 - 7:00 am
The Mornin' Thang presented the first All Car Consequences.

6/2 - 9:00 am
Listeners "punsh" the contestants and vote to have cell phones taken away from them until further notice (and possibly for the rest of the contest)

6/3 - 3:30 pm
Construction foreman informs the contestants that the overnight construction is "mostly" complete. This should result in easier sleeping conditions for the contestants.

6/3 - 5:00 pm
Jonathon is awarded a "luxury" by the listeners, one hour of "quality time" away from the contest at the Hyatt Place Hotel in Roanoke. He spent his time away from the game with his wife and took his first shower in 7 days.

6/4 - 8:00 am
Contestants participate in their first challenge, "Drinko". They can either win a case of Vitamin Water OR have to drink a shot of clam juice, with the option of not drinking the juice but giving up one of their personal items in the car. All 3 contestants drink their allotted clam juice and keep their items.

6/4 - 7:30 pm
Megan complains of a minor sore throat and headache.

6/5 - 8:15 am
Contestants inflict "Pepe-quences" on Pepe the Helper Monkey in retribution for, what they consider to be, a poor/mean attitude. He is forced to smell Jonathon's armpit, has back hair ripped off his body via duct tape and drinks leftover clam juice from the "Drinko" challenge.

6/5 - 5:00 pm
Megan is awarded a "luxury" by the listeners, she gets to take a shower. This vote was between Megan & Cassandra and was won by less than 75 votes.

6/5 - 9:00 pm
Megan's shampoo leaks all over one of her personal bags.

6/6 - 8:00 am
Roanoke City, Roanoke County and Salem firefighters offer massages to our contestants. Cassandra and Megan accept, Jonathon declines.

6/6 - 3:35 pm
A mall patron offers to buy Megan Chick-Fil-A waffle fries in exchange for her phone number. She declines, stating that she's not hungry.

6/6 - 4:15 pm
Another mall patron offers Cassandra a doughnut if she performs a "pole dance" on the lamp post behind the car. She declines.

6/6 - 5:00 pm
Cassandra is awarded a "luxury" by the listeners, she gets to take a shower. It has been eight days since she took a shower. Jonathon and Megan are happy for her.

6/7 - 6/8
Several times throughout the weekend, two of the contestants complain that the Survive it To Drive It contest "isn't hard enough".
(The complaints came from Cassandra and Jonathon)

6/8 - 5:00 pm
All three contestants are given a 30 minute bonus break while the Jeep Compass they'd been living in was replaced with a Toyota Camry.

6/9 - 9:00 am
Listeners "punish" the contestants. They vote to have "Monica-rena", which is Miss Monica singing the Macarena, played non-stop from Midnight until 7am.

6/9 - 9:15 pm
Cassandra washes her hair in the Ladies' restroom sink.

6/10 - 12:30 am
Contestants seem to be enjoying the continuous loop of Miss Monica's "Monica-rena". Megan and Cassandra are doing the Macarena dance while Jonathon's first attempt at getting some sleep was futile.

6/10 - 2:30 am
The Monica-rena trips off the silent alarm at Kay Jewelers. Police officers arrive at the scene to investigate. No arrests are made.

6/10 - 5:30 am
The continuous Monica-rena loop is ended early by the judges so the contestants can try to get some much needed sleep.

6/10 - 6:30 am
A local barber shop quartet serenades the contestants.

6/10 - 8:05 am
Jonathon is awarded a "luxury" by the listeners, access to his cellphone for the next 24 hours. This will be the first time any of the contestants have been able to use their phone in 8 days.

6/10 - 5:00 pm
Listeners "punish" the contestants and vote to have all three of them sit in the backseat for the next 48 hours. Megan immediately asks Jonathon not to pass gas while they're back there.

6/11 - 3:25 pm
Mall management informs the contestants that they will shutting down the air conditioning after the mall closes for repairs. They're told the temperature inside the mall could reach 100 degrees during this time.

6/11 - 5:00 pm
Megan is awarded a "luxury" by the listeners, she gets to take a shower. She beat out Jonathon by a mere 18 votes in the closest vote yet. It's been 6 days since she last showered.

6/12 - 3:55 am
JONATHON IS EVICTED FROM THE CAR
He opened the back door and put his feet out of the car.

6/12 - 9:00 am
Listeners "punish" the contestants and vote to replace the Monica-rena punishment with All Night Karaoke featuring the K92 3rd Stringers - Nigel, Cubby, Stewie and other really bad singers on the staff.
Recently evicted Jonathon is rumored to be a guest singer on Friday.

6/13 - 12:30 am
Nigel begins a solo, yet inspired, Karaoke performance because the other K92 3rd Stringers fail to show up. K92 bosses are not pleased and order them to perform all night Karaoke tomorrow night.

6/13 - 3:00 pm
As per doctor's orders, Cassandra is allowed to take a shower. Unfortunately, the shower at the mall had no hot water so she decided to wash her hair and get out. It's been 7 days since her last shower.

6/13 - 8:30 pm
Megan and Cassandra are given a 30 minute break while the Toyota Camry they'd been living in is replaced with a Ford Escape.

6/14 - 12:00 am
All Night Karaoke featuring the K92 3rd Stringers begins. Both contestants say that Stewie is, without question, a lousy singer.

6/14 - 2:15 pm
After being assured that the hot water is working in the contestant's shower at the mall, Cassandra is given another chance to shower. Megan will be allowed to shower after she's done.

6/15 - 2:00 pm
Cassandra leaves a book on a table. This is a rules infraction as all personal items not being used inside the car must be kept in a duffel bag in the trunk. She is put on notice and will be evicted from the car if another infraction occurs.

6/16 - 9:00 am
Listeners "punish" the contestants by voting to have them wear seatbelts while in the car and have the seats set at a 90 degree angle.

6/16 - 8:30 pm
A bag containing bananas brought to the contest area on Day 1 are found underneath a table. This is not any type of infraction. The odor and bugs surrounding them, however, can be described as unpleasant.

6/17 - 9:00 am
Listeners "punish" the contestants by voting to have a siren go off every ten minutes between midnight and 7am. Sleeping won't be easy.

6/17 - 4:00 pm
The Chick-Fil-A cow crashes the party and joins Megan and Cassandra inside the vehicle. The women seem to enjoy his company and stench. 

6/17 - 5:00 pm
Listeners "punish" the contestants and vote to move bathroom breaks to every 3 hours and reduce their hourly short breaks to 2 minutes.

6/18 - 9:00 am
Listeners "punish" the contestants by voting to have both contestants sing "Baby Got Back" once an hour for the duration of the contest.

6/18 - 5:00 pm
Listeners award a "luxury" to the contestants by voting to allow them to make a 5 minute phone call live on the radio with Danny & Zack.

6/19 - 7:15 am
Cassandra uses her phone call to call her daughter.
