Women Need Downtime on Weekends Even More Than Men

This weekend was all about dads. But we might want to start treating every OTHER weekend like Mother’s Day: A new study found women need downtime on weekends even more than men do.

In general, weekends are when most of us have the least amount of stress. But researchers at Binghamton University in New York found there’s an even more dramatic shift for women.

They think it’s because women tend to juggle more things throughout the week, and don’t have as much downtime in general. So finding more of it is important, and kicking back on weekends is essential.
