The following stipulates basic contest rules for the “K92 Mornin’ Thang’s $10,000 ATM” and all contests both “on” and  “off” the air, featured on WXLK, K92-FM. Each contest may have additional restrictions and/or qualifications that will be noted with each contest.

 

How to play and win the “K92 Mornin’ Thang’s $10,000 ATM” is as follows:

We will solicit caller #19 at 540-774-9236 weekdays mornings at approximately 7:20, 8:20 & 9:20 (within 10 minutes). Then the caller will guess a 4 digit PIN using numbers 1-9. Numbers will only be used once for each PIN. If the 4 digit is not correct, we will identify if & any of the numbers that are correct. If the 4 digit PIN is correct, the caller will win the dollar amount of the current contest play. If the caller does not win the current play time, then they can call again at the next contest play time. We will play the contest until we’ve given away a total of $10,000. Each cash winner is only eligible to win once during the duration of the contest which will start on 5/19/25 and end on or around 6/25/25. The on-air personalities may give clues at any time during the contest to help identify some of the PIN’s if the current dollar amount has not been given away in a timely manner.

• Prizes must be picked up within 30 days of winning at the WXLK studios, 3934 Electric Road, Roanoke, Virginia 24018. Prizes may only be claimed during normal business hours 8:30 AM until 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

• All prizes must be claimed in person or in some cases will me mailed out. Winners must present two (2) valid forms of identification, one with picture, to claim a prize. Winners may be required to sign a release form to claim a prize.

• Designated representative: In very unique situations, designated representatives will be allowed to claim prizes. Written authorization from the winner is required, including representatives name and social security number, along with a photocopy of the winner’s driver’s license/state ID. The designated representative must also provide (2) valid forms of ID. K92 will determine what constitutes a “unique situation”.

• All K92 contests are open to any and all K92 listeners, with the exception of employees of Mel Wheeler, Inc., its agencies, subsidiaries, affiliates, representatives and families; anyone involved with the production, preparation and distribution of contest materials; and employees and families of employees of other radio stations.

• K92 is not responsible for lost, misdirected, delayed or illegible mail of facsimile entries, and K92 disclaims any responsibility for inability to complete a telephone call, whether due to telephone equipment or malfunction, busy lines or otherwise. Entries not conforming to announced entry specifications will not be acknowledged or returned.

• All contestants acknowledge, as a condition of entry, that K92 has the right to publicize and/or broadcast contestants’ name, character, likeness, voice or all matters incidental herein. All contest entries become the property of K92.

• Any person calling K92 contest line, 540-774-9236, gives consent to being recorded and/or broadcast without notification or compensation.

• Only one (1) winner per household or family may be eligible to win during the duration of the K92 Mornin’ Thang’s $10,000 ATM contest.

• K92 reserves the right to end the contest at any time for any reason.

• Winners under the age of 18 (eighteen) must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Parent or legal guardian must also provide ID and sign appropriate release forms.

• All unclaimed prizes will be deemed refused and will be forfeited. K92 is at liberty to give away any unclaimed/forfeited prize at the conclusion of the original winner’s 30 (thirty) day grace period.

• All major prizes (valued at $100.00 or more) will be given away by K92. Odds of winning depend on the number of qualified entries.

• K92 may substitute one prize for another of equal value without “on-air” or “off-air” acknowledgement.

• No purchase necessary to enter or win. Any K92 contest is void where prohibited by law.

• K92/Mel Wheeler, Inc. is not responsible for defective prizes.

• Additions and deletions to these rules are subject to the discretion of K92, and may be enacted at any time.

• Any and all taxes associated with winning cash or a prize is the sole responsibility of the winner.

• Specific contests may have an addendum which is to be included in the basic contest rules.

• Basic contests rules and addendum’s are available for review, during regular office hours as stated herein, or upon receipt of a self-addressed stamped envelope only.

• Any prizes that are mailed are considered delivered at such time they are relinquished to the US Postal Service or other reputable courier/delivery service.

• Listening on-line or via smart phone apps may affect your ability to enter time sensitive contests.

• WXLK is not responsible for replacing or substituting tickets and/ or passes won to an event, a concert, a festival or public happening that is canceled.
